Student Wellbeing
Our school prioritises the development of social and emotional learning. This involves students having opportunities to learn and practice social skills such as:
cooperation
making friends
managing conflict
being resilient
recognising and managing their own feelings.
These essential skills ensure that students are able to work effectively with others, manage their own emotions and persist when encountering challenges. We support students to take risks in their learning and strive hard to achieve success.
School Wide Positive Behaviours is our whole school wellbeing framework, bringing together students, staff and families around a common language and shared expectations that help every child feel safe, connected and ready to learn.
